Marcia Baptiste from the community of Portsmouth is the 2010 Dominica Carnival Queen. She won from a field of seven beautiful young ladies who participated in this year's Carnival Queen help on Friday February 12th 2010, at the Pottersville Savannah.

Marcia also won the Best In Evening Wear award, Best Performing Talent and Miss Photogenic.

Speaking to reporters after her crowning, she thank God for everything and said that she worked hard and kept true with God.

The other two top spots went to Dana Augustine and Kristelle Fagan frist and second places respectfully.

Miss Amity award and Best Response To Question went to Kristelle Fagan, Best Costume was Amy Polydore, Dana Augustine: Best In Swimwear and Clarissa Nicholls - Best Evening Wear.

From all reports this year's attendants at the show was the best in many years.
